Buttermilk Biscuits with Farm Cream

May 13, 2026 revolutionarytestingsite_admin Recipes 1 min read

Biscuits are forgiving, but the best ones come from cold butter, real buttermilk, and a light hand.

You will need

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 tbsp cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp cream, for brushing

Method

Whisk dry ingredients. Cut in butter until pea-sized. Stir in buttermilk just until shaggy. Turn out, fold three times, pat to 1-inch thick, cut, and bake at 425°F for 12–14 minutes. Brush tops with cream the moment they come out of the oven.
