Spring on the Farm: What is Happening This Month

May 13, 2026 revolutionarytestingsite_admin Seasonal Updates 1 min read

Spring on the farm is the busiest, sweetest time of year.

Babies everywhere

We have 14 lambs in the barn, three new goat kids, and the first peeping chicks arrived last Thursday. The petting barn is open daily.

Cows back on pasture

The Jerseys made the move from winter quarters to the spring paddock last week. Milk yields jumped overnight — and the cream is bright yellow again.

Seedlings in the greenhouse

Tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, basil. Transplant out in late May after the last frost.

What to come see

Open barn weekends start this Saturday. Free admission, donations gratefully accepted.
